Water tanks and reservoirs

The water tanks and reservoirs are built with the best steel to the best quality to ensure that it withstands all the elements with longevity in mind. Steel Valley understands that these investments are made to stand the test of time.

The standard factory-finish of Steel Valley tanks is Zincalume® matt, metallic silver. Should you opt for a specific colour to suit your aesthetic preference, your chosen colour is factory-baked onto each individual Zincalume® structural steel wall-plate using a colour-fast, powder coating process.

Types of tanks available

Steel tower

These steel structures replace the concrete reservoir.

Ground tank

Slightly elevated or automated with a water pump.

Roof tank

Can be place upon a platform above the roof or within the roof using ground bearer beams.

Warehouse racking

Get efficient use of the space you are paying for with Steel Valley’s range of warehouse racking.

Light duty racking

Made to be extremely versatile, this is suitable for small parts, accessories such as the lighter workplace with manpower, manual handling storage, and order picking.

Heavy duty racking

Storage racks are great space saver. Use the vertical space for storage instead of floor space. Heavy duty Racks are set up to make stored products accessible from both ends and either side.

Mezzanine racking

Mezzanine floors increase storage, effectively acting as an extra floor between the ground and ceiling.

Studs and tracks – practical and economical

Solutions for screw fixing plasterboard to internal non-load bearing partitions, fire and acoustic rated walls, stairwells, bulkheads and corridor ceilings.

Galvanised purlins

Steel valley’s purlins are made by rolling cold-formed sheets to manufacture steelwork for supporting the roof. The purlin is unique in its design, whereby stiffeners have been introduced in its cross-section to form cost-effective solutions to support roofing sheets. In design, various solutions can be utilised to achieve longer spans e.g overlapping of purlins, sleeving of purlins and using continuous purlins.

The Purlins are galvanised with high grade zinc coating, therefore there is no need for it to be primed nor painted.

Decking

Bond deck is an efficient, versatile and robust structural decking and ceiling system for concrete slabs. It is a highly regarded formwork product offering efficiency and speed of construction.

Thermal membrane

Manufactured by a continuous lamination process of low-density polyethylene and aluminium foil with sealed bubbles or air between the two outer laminates.
