Abundant viewings of hippo, crocodile, elephant, giraffe and birdlife along the route are common on the Upper Zambezi River between Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls and Zambezi National Parks on the south bank, and the pristine bush of the Zambia Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park on the north bank. This activity is for those of reasonable fitness, 12 years or over. The Upper Zambezi River is a beautiful place for canoeing.

Canoeing

The Upper Zambezi River has stunning vegetation such as ebonies, water berries, palms and a tremendous variety of acacia and albizia. SafPar provides the best way to explore the upper river, its islands and channels. The rapids are small and at their peak are only classed as grade two, which is the second easiest grade.
