Registered in January 2010, Kitwe Animal Welfare Society (KAWS) offers shelter to rescued animals, boarding facilities and veterinary care. The organisation is also highly involved in the community offering free rabies vaccinations and veterinary assistance as well as limited neuters in the outlying low cost areas. This organisation has a goal to protect animals against negligence, abuse and exploitation. KAWS aims to provide food, shelter, arranging adoption and representing animal interests to ensure their well-being.
Kitwe Animal Welfare Society (KAWS) encourages you to contribute to the organisation by spreading the management of animal protection and responsible pet guardianship, cleaning, keeping the facilities in good condition, donating food or other items such as blankets, toys and grooming supplies.
