Join the Chikumbuso community in their efforts to help those in need!

Chikumbuso is a community that values compassion and giving back to those in need. There are several ways you can get involved in this wonderful community. One way is to sponsor a grandparent or an orphan. Your donation can help provide basic necessities such as food, shelter, and education for those who are less fortunate.

Another way to support Chikumbuso is to send a package. This can be a great opportunity to send items that are difficult to come by in Zambia, such as books, school supplies, or clothing.

If you're looking for a unique and meaningful gift, consider buying a bag made by the talented Chikumbuso women. These bags are beautifully crafted and each purchase supports the women and their families.

Finally, volunteering your time is a great way to contribute to the Chikumbuso community. You can assist with teaching, mentoring, and various other tasks. The experience will be rewarding and you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

There are many ways to get involved with Chikumbuso, and each one helps to make a positive impact in the community.

Chikumbuso is a grassroots project in Ng'ombe township in Lusaka. Founded by Linda Wilkinson in 2005, Chikumbuso provides an alternative lifestyle to vulnerable women and children. Free schooling is available, as well as adult training and capacity building, income generation activities and community building programs. 30 young adults have left the streets to come to Chikumbuso to learn new life skills in tailoring and cooking. The word Chikumbuso means remembrance.
