All courses are designed, developed and packaged in accordance with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and are currently under scrutiny by the Zambian Technical, Education & Entrepreneurial Training Authority (TEVETA) for accreditation purposes. Research has shown that once accredited, these short courses will be, other than Queensland Australia, the only accredited courses of this subject matter in the world.
This One Day Course Aims to: | Give knowledge of the number snake species globally and locally |

- | Show an understanding of the snake as a creature (physiology, behaviour, predation, senses, means of identification, etc.). Teach about the species of snakes that are likely to occur in the region (preferred habitat, diet, seasonal occurrence rate. Impart an understanding of “snake safety”. |
- | Distribute conservation knowledge and the law. Demonstrate basic emergency snakebite treatment |
