On arrival at Ben Gurion Airport with Ethiopian Airlines at 03:40 am, you will be met by a Dominion Travel and Tours representative and assisted through customs. Transfer to your hotel on the coast of the Mediterranean for breakfast and a rest.

Day 1: Caesarea, Megiddo and Mt, Carmel

After breakfast drive to visit the Roman city of Caesarea with its amazing excavations. Pass by Megiddo overlooking the Jezreel Valley also known as the Valley of Armageddon. Drive to Muhraka, and then continue to Mt. Carmel where Elijah defeated the Priests of Baal. Take in breathtaking view of the north of Israel. Have dinner and overnight in the Galilee area.

Day 2: Nazareth and Cana

After breakfast visit Nazareth and visit the Church of Annunciation which is one of the focal points in Nazareth. The church is built on the original Byzantine church and the crypt includes the cave of the Annunciation where the Angel Gabriel is said to have appeared to Mary. Afterwards, stroll through the market area to visit the synagogue where Jesus is believed to have preached. Drive to Cana, see the site of the first Miracle where Jesus turned water into wine. Have dinner and overnight in the Galilee area.

Day 3: Sea of Galilee, boat ride and Yardenit

After breakfast drive to the Mount of Beatitudes. Next visit Capernaum on the northwest shore where Jesus began his preaching career. The town was also well known during Second Temple, Roman and Byzantine periods. Visit Mensa Christi. and continue to Tabgha, the site of the miracle of the multiplication. Go on to visit Yardenit Baptismal Site and experience a full baptism for those who are interested. End your day with an afternoon boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and enjoy a time for prayer and reflection. Dinner and overnight in the Galilee Area.

Day 4: Jericho, Qumran and The Dead Sea

After breakfast, Drive to Jericho a flourishing oasis in the Judean Desert and the first city conquered by Joshua in the Promised Land. Enter the city and stop by the old Sycamore tree, believed to be the tree on which Zacchaeus climbed to see Jesus. View the mount of Temptation then visit Qumran, the remains of a desert settlement where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth for a unique floating and swimming experience. Next, visit Bethany and Lazaro’s tomb. Ascent to Jerusalem, the messenger city of peace and cradle of the three monotheistic religions. Enjoy a ceremony of arrival and prayer on Mount Scopus. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5: Mount of Olives and Bethlehem

After breakfast visit the Mount of Olives where you can view all of ancient and modern Jerusalem. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension and the Pater Noster Church where Jesus taught his disciples the Lord’s Prayer. Visit the Church of Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem, then walked down the “Palm Sunday Road” to the Garden of Gethsemane where he prayed the prayer of Agony and was betrayed by Judas. Drive to Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus. The town is dominated by the Church of the Nativity, built on the grotto where Jesus is believed to have been born. Visit Shepherd’s Field on the outskirts of Bethlehem where the angels appeared to the shepherds to announce the birth of Jesus. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6: Israel Museum, Mt Zion and Via Dolorosa

After breakfast visit Israel Museum and the Model of Jerusalem as in Jesus' day, as well as the Shrine of the Book where you can see the Dead Sea Scrolls. Proceed to visit Mount Zion and the Upper Room of the Last Supper and King David's Tomb. Next visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu built on the site of the house of the high priest Caiaphas. Enter the Old City. Walk through colourful bazaars. Visit the Pool of Bethesda. Walk along the Via Dolorosa also called the “Way of the Cross”, Jesus' route from Pilate's judgment hall to Golgotha. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7: Garden tomb, Ein Kerem, Jaffa and departure

After a late breakfast start the day with a Holy Communion at the Garden Tomb. Continue to Ein Kerem and John the Baptist's Church. Then drive to the Ancient Sea Port of Jaffa, known to be the oldest Seaport in the world. Enjoy fee time for shopping then a farwell dinner before departing to the airport.
