The Donna River Trail

Experience small rapids and canoe downstream from Mawimbi Bush Camp. The beauty of the river shines through on this stretch of the river. It offers more abundant bird and animal life, coupled with a landscape of meandering river, dotted with islands. A few small rapids give you a taste of bigger things to come if one is brave to canoe further downstream. Stop off on the side of the river or return to camp for lunch. This trip starts at 8am at Mawimbi Bush Camp. Total canoeing distance is approximately 15-18km.
