History of the company
Union Tiles began in Johannesburg in 1910 as a small cement and terrazzo tile producer. The company's founder brought his terrazzo trade skills and knowledge from Bergamo in Italy. These Italian roots and core knowledge are still firmly entrenched in the company's management style, in the origin and development of its products, which are manufactured at the production facility near Johannesburg. It is supplied with tiles imported from all over the world as well as being stockists of tiles manufactured by Union Tiles in South Africa.
