The soft furnishings are carefully coordinated with furniture made by local craftsmen using indigenous materials. The reed walls of the chalet are at three-quarter height but can be raised to the full height if required. There are mosquito nets on all beds and mosquito coils are used in the evenings. During the cooler months, hot water bottles ensure the beds are warm and cosy. Each room also enjoys the benefit of its own secluded sun garden, complete with outdoor shower for close to nature moments. All in all, Taita Falcon Lodge is a perfect haven for relaxing in a luxurious yet friendly environment.
Livingstone activities
At Taita Falcon Lodge, you set your own pace. You can be as active or as relaxed as you choose. Activity options included in the all-inclusive rates offer guided bush and bird walks to view Zambia wildlife, short hikes, a cultural village tour, a visit to Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya), a sunset game viewing cruise and a Livingstone town tour (including the local market visit and museum entry). Guests can choose one lodge activity each day, with an extra activity for each additional night they stay (for example three activities on the third day).
