Automated teller machines

Newtech Business System offers a wide range of self-service Automated Teller Machine (ATM) solutions, which improve customer loyalty, increase revenue and reduce business risks. The ATMs are through-the-wall or lobby type, with a small footprint and minimal infrastructure requirement that can be deployed anywhere. In addition to its own GRG ATMs it does servicing of other brand ATMs.

Their bank customer list includes Zanaco, Finance and Indo - Zambia. Having a variety of functions as well as a host of security features, these ATMs come from GRG Banking Equipment Co. Ltd. of China. The machines comply with international industrial standards including EMV, PCI PED, CEN/XFS, UL, FCC, CE an ISO.

Newtech Business System supplies and services intelligent cash processing machines from Magner International of USA, the world leaders in currency machines. The machines have high speed value (not mere piece counting), but also have the ability to detect counterfeit notes quality as well as sorting them out.

Electronic payment systems

Through its subsidiary company Newtech Business System has been authorised by Bank of Zambia to deploy private independent ATMs and also roll out a payment ( electronic fund transfer) system.

Newtech Business System history

Newtech successfully brought Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) from GRG of China in 2008 into Zambia, a market which was till then a monopoly of a MNC.

Newtech also introduced, for the first time, different business models for the deployment of ATM such as Use and Pay, Lease and Hire, which has been a great success.

Similarly in the retail business, Newtech successfully brought into Zambia in the year 2009, a low cost, more user friendly retail management and accounting software systems, challenging the monopoly position enjoyed by another MNC. This system has been accorded approval by Zambia Revenue Authority.
