Healthy eating
The Mezza proprietors aim to provide food that is as healthy as possible. All dishes are prepared using olive oil which has natural, curative and healing qualities. The famous Lebanese dish of hummus (made from chick peas, tahini sauce, garlic and olive oil) is also known for its positive effect on the body.
Mezza uses healthy ingredients including organic vegetables, and all the food served is strictly Halaal. These restaurants serve refreshing orange, lemonade, carrot and apple juices as well as milk shakes, and fresh juices such as mango and guava juice when in season. Currently 70% of Mezza's packaging is made from 'green home', a material that is 100% bio-degradable.
Experience top quality Shawarma!
The Shawarma is a Middle Eastern fast-food staple. It is a sandwich-like pitta bread wrap of lamb, chicken or beef. The meat is placed on a spit and is slowly grilled. It is exceptionally popular in Zambia and Mezza has a lot to do with making it so!
