Melsim Lodge has a wonderfully spacious and bright restaurant and bar with a choice of formal dining or more relaxing sofa style seating. The restaurant serves an east African-inspired menu. Dishes include Eritrean, Ethiopian and Zambian meals, giving diners a variety of cuisines to choose from. International cuisines are also available.

Eritrean and Ethiopian dishes are created by two experienced Ethiopian chefs using the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking methods to achieve the authentic taste of each dish. The restaurant is open to both lodge residents and the public. Walk-in diners are welcome.

The restaurant also has a bar area which is well stocked with a full range of beer, spirit, juices and soft drinks. Guests at Melsim Lodge can look forward to an inviting atmosphere and a high standard of service.

The large conference hall at Melsim Lodge is a versatile room – it can be adapted to your specific needs, to suit themed weddings, kitchen parties, birthdays or any other private function. For weddings, Melsim Lodge offers a complimentary room for the bride and groom for a night.

For corporate events delegates can be seated in a number of formats depending on the needs of the event organisers.
