'Safari' means 'to journey' in Swahili. Safaris evoke thoughts of exotic locations and mysterious, wild and dreamy holidays. Bush Buzz wants to help make your dream safari holiday in Zambia a reality. At the same time they aim to promote mutual appreciation between Zambians and their visitors, respect for different cultures, for nature and wildlife, and for historical sites and venues. And Bas and Nathalie van Soest, the founders of Bush Buzz, know what they're talking about. They ran mobile safaris in Zambia from 2003 to 2006, and managed safari lodges for Wilderness Safaris in the Kafue National Park from 2006 to 2010.
Bush Buzz consultants have become experts at compiling adventurous, affordable, comfortable, fun, interesting itineraries for a variety of different needs.
Bush Buzz also caters for those looking for:

Activities
Apart from excellent game viewing, there are a host of different activities available on safari in Zambia. These include various water activities, adrenaline activities like bunjee jumping, and cultural activities such as watching traditional dancing and attending traditional ceremonies. Zambia offers activities for all ages and interests. The game park lodges tend to focus mainly on activities such as game drives (day or night), walking safaris and outings to nearby local villages or community projects. Some even offer exhilarating microlight flights over the vast wilderness, giving guests an unique 'birds eye view' of the area and its wildlife. Lodges by rivers also offer a variety of water activities such as fishing, canoeing, sunset cruises and makoro (local dug out canoes) trips.
Livingstone, home of the spectacular Victoria Falls, is known as the 'adrenalin capital' of Zambia, with bungee jumping off the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe, gorge swings, white water rafting and jet boating on the Zambezi. Also on offer are quad biking in the surrounding hills, helicopter and microlight flights over the majestic natural wonder of the world….and so the list goes on! Bush Buzz can also arrange for a day trip into the Chobe National Park in neighbouring Botswana.
Safari packages
Zambia is an extremely large country with a wealth of beauty and an impressive list of 'must do' destinations and activities. It can therefore be rather overwhelming to plan a trip to Zambia. To keep things simple, Bush Buzz has selected highlights and prime destinations and thoughtfully combined them into ready made packages of varying lengths. These packages usually offer multiple destinations, and a choice of lodges and activities with a nice mixture of 'the best of Zambia'.
Bush Buzz' eco policy
With the knowledge that mankind is largely responsible for the deterioration of the world's natural assets, the Bush Buzz team does its best to support eco-friendly initiatives in its choice of establishments and activities. During their safaris the interest of the local people and animals always comes first. As a Zambia based operator Bush Buzz contributes directly to the local economy and eco-tourism initiative.
