If you cannot find a car part, Autoworld can order parts from its numerous suppliers worldwide. All that is required are a few details that appear on the inspection plate of your vehicle such as engine number, chassis number, model number and year of manufacture. For example:

Once these details have been provided a quotation will be issued to you in less than three working days. Special orders usually take 21-30 days to arrive from date of confirmation. Electronic wheel balancing

A service for quality wheel spin without vibration. This helps prevent damage to suspension, bearings and the drive train. Autoworld fitment centres use state-of-the-art electronic balancing machines.

Electronic wheel alignment

For maximum tyre life and a safe vehicle that tracks straight. Autoworld carries out wheel alignment using a computerised four wheel aligner for high levels of accuracy. Alignment is according to vehicle manufacturer specifications.

Truck tyre fitting, tyre mending, wheel balancing and alignment

Note that Autoworld on Kafue Road next to the Downtown Shopping Centre now has electronic machinery for truck tyre fitting, tyre mending, wheel balancing and alignment.

Tyre fitting

Autoworld use tyre fitting machines to avoid damage to the wheel or tyre. Wheels are inspected for cracks, chips and rust patches to ensure high safety standards and air tight seals. When you buy your tyres from Autoworld they will be fitted free of charge.

Tyre mending

Autoworld fitment centres repair punctures on most tyres, both tubeless and tubed. Tyres are fully inspected to ensure they are safe to be re-used.

Installations

Autoworld fitment centre are able to install radios, alarms and gear locks.

• High tech on-car disc skimming - Autoworld now offers this service to save customers time and money with the guarantee of a professional job in less time.
• Full mechanical vehicle servicing - Carried out by Autoworld's highly qualified mechanics.
• Nitrogen air - Autoworld offers nitrogen air supply at several of its fitment centres. Nitrogen is recommended to ensure that tyres remain cooler and last longer, as it is a pure and inert gas that does not retain heat. Cooler tyres are less prone to tyre bursts and therefore much safer.

Marine workshop

The marine workshop carries out repairs on both Mercury and Mariner Outboards as well as Mercruiser Inboard engines. A full range of genuine spares and quicksilver lubricants are available to ensure an efficient back-up service. Autoworld has added a drive-in test tank to help mimic the engine characteristics and give the same effect as testing a boat on the water! Autoworld has a team of senior technicians that have acquired specialised training in Belgium and Dubai on Mercury outboards, including the new generation of Verado, Optimax and four stroke engines. Technicians at Autoworld are also able to attend to conventional two stroke engines.
