The AISL curriculum has a strong academic foundation, as well as a robust co-curricular program in sport, creative arts, and technology. A strong advisory program, a student support services program and a community and service program are designed to support and nurture the intellectual, social and emotional development of adolescent children.
The Secondary School integrates technology into the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning by offering a 1:1 iPad program for Grades 6-10 and a 1:1 laptop program in grades 11-12. Secondary School students have the opportunity to earn two internationally recognised qualifications: the AISL American High School Diploma and the prestigious International Baccalaureate Programme.
Both diplomas provide students with the opportunity to attend competitive colleges or universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and other institutions around the world. The International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme provides the framework for teaching and learning and is implemented in grades 6-10. The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is a clearly defined curriculum administered in grades 11-12.
