Chikunto Safaris was founded by Jens Kant, his late wife Regula, and the late Josephat Musoni. The lodge opened in April 2018. Very tragically, both Regula and Josephat have passed away. However their legacies live on. Chikunto Safari Lodge's clients and tour operators are looked after by Gareth Jones who has more than 20 years experience in international hospitality.
